LineBreakNotifier.mq4 is a custom indicator for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) that monitors line breakouts on your chart and sends real-time alerts. Whether you’re tracking horizontal lines, trendlines, or dynamic high/low levels, this tool helps you stay informed the moment price breaks through key levels.

- Directional Line Break Detection
– Monitors an upward breakout line (UpperBreakLine) and alerts only when price breaks above it
– Monitors a downward breakout line (LowerBreakLine) and alerts only when price breaks below it
– Alert messages omit direction and rely on line names for clarity - Automatic High/Low Line Calculation
– Calculates high and low levels based on a specified period and shift
– Displays these lines on the chart using indicator buffers
– Alerts only when price breaks above the high or below the low - Flexible Notification Options
– Supports email, popup alerts, and push notifications
– Each method can be enabled or disabled independently - Break Detection Modes
–CloseOnly: Detects breakouts based on closed candles
–Intrabar: Detects breakouts in real-time using current price
– Intrabar mode ensures alerts only trigger if the previous candle didn’t break the level - Cooldown Control
– Prevents repeated alerts for the same event within a specified time window (NotifyCooldownMinutes)
📈 Visual Display
- High and low lines are drawn using indicator buffers, not chart objects
- They appear as two colored lines on the main chart window
- Removing the indicator removes the lines automatically
